Closer Than You Think

Now is the time, now is the hour
For every believer to rise and shine
To be filled with the new wine
And move in supernatural power

God is getting ready to usher in
The greatest revival that's ever been
Culminating in the coming
The Lord of lords and King of kings.

The Spirit is saying to you and I
Keep your head up high
And keep your eyes on the sky
The return of the Lord is drawing nigh

In the same way
The hearts of the Apostles burned
As He disappeared out of their sight
So our spirit within us will yearn
As we anticipate His soon return

In the twinkling of an eye
The clouds will open wide
And a glorious picture will unfold
It will be exactly as it is foretold

Seeing Jesus whom they crucified
With thousands of angels by His side
And the saints that have already died
Clothed in robes of purest white

This awesome display will be seen
On every television screen
And wherever there is no technology
With the naked eye they will see

As friends and neighbors will take flight
To meet the Savior in the sky
There will be no apology
No excuses for their procrastination
For rejecting God's gift of salvation

Please heed the Spirit's advice
Walk circumspectly and be wise
And keep your garments white
He is coming for a spotless Bride

Brothers and Sisters of mine
Be aware of the signs of the time
The coming back of our King
May be closer than you think
